Had vehicle in for inspection. Said everything was okay. When I left the engine light came on, antifreeze was low. How did they miss that?

Out of town buyers beware! I drove 2 hours (one way) to only find out the car I was coming to see had sold this morning. No one bothered to contact me to let me know, like I was assured would happen. What a waste of gas and time. I had other appointments this afternoon that I rearranged just so I would be able to make the trip up here.
