Assigned by my health insurance as my PCP (he is on their site), got my card, and was now informed that he is concierge only and I would have to pay an annual fee in order for my coverage to be honored. Unacceptable, unethical and unprofessional...
Cant get a prescription refilled, he has been my doctor for 7 years now, but he went concierge and wont fill a life saving prescription...im going on a trip and because its a new year the wonderful insurance industry wont honor the old perscription....they want a new one. this is extortion at its finest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I has been seeing Dr. Marshak for 7 years, was good till last year, this year, Dr. Marshak has been extremely greedy. Do not recommend! I went for a well check, just asked for a trivia thing, the nurse said no worry, the conversation is less than 30 secs, then I was charged for a separate office visit for this. Ridiculous. They are too greedy!
As someone who is generally healthy, I usually go to see Dr. Marshak once a year for my wellness exam for the past few years, he would order blood tests which are fully covered by my insurance company, Anthem. However, in April 2024, I went in again for my annual wellness exam. Without telling me any reason or mentioning them, he ordered two additional blood tests: Vitamin B12 and folic acid assay, which he never ordered before in my previous wellness exams.
