Dr. Kiefer helped me avoid back surgery & I will be forever grateful.
Dr. Kiefer's communication style is extraordinary. He paid careful attention to all of the information I provided, followed up with additional questions and examination, and carefully explained the ramifications of the various choices I had. He made me understand my situation much better than any of the other providers I had worked with and encourage me to follow the most conservative action possible to whether surgery could be avoided. Dr. Kiefer made me feel that he really cares about me as a patient and is an absolute mas... read more
Rudest physician that I have ever met and I have been in healthcare for 17 years. He acted like it was a bother to even be there and the fact that he refused to answer my questions as he raised his finger to me to shoosh me when I tried to ask a question about my fathers condition was so childish and uncalled for. I would not recommend him to anyone! His mind set of my crap doesn’t stink was pathetic and so uncalled for! So rude and such a waste of 2 hours of my day. I do not have to have all warm and fuzzy drs. I just expec... read more
Rude and discourteous personality and treated me terribly. He didn't listen as I tried to explain my pain. He only spent approximately 4 minutes in the exam room. I brought my MRI for my first visit, then the nurse comes in and asks me if I have my MRI with me ! The man didn't even look at my disc. A total joke. Came away feeling very insignificant.
Just had my first appointment with him and certainly will be my last. Arrogant and dismissive, snobbish and very much in a hurry. Cursory exam lasting 2 minutes with zero discussion of MRI results or PT summary despite referring me to therapy. He could/would not explain, nor even attempt to explain the source of my cervical pain. An extremely poor representative of Baptist Health.
Dr. Keifer is an excellent doctor! He found my cancer that had metastasized to my spine. He set me up quickly with a plan as well as an excellent team of doctors! I will be forever grateful to him!
Excellent surgeon and really cares. I had a cervical fusion and am doing great. This dude is dialed in.
He only spent maybe 5 minutes with me before telling me a VNS was not needed. Had he read the notes sent to him from my reg neuro, he would've seen the adverse effects the medicine I'm taking has had on me. He would've also understood that despite me not having a full grand maul seizure since 2016, that I have been having many auras commonly associated with partial seizures, despite an increase/changes in my meds. I have not liked any of the neurologists I've seen in lexington. Corbin is 4me
Dr. Keifer did acdf multi level on my neck in August 2016. I found him professional and kind. He relieved my pain and is an excellent surgeon.
