The vast majority of patients can be treated successfully without surgery. Conservative treatments often include physical therapy, medication, traction, injections, and chiropractic care. When these measure fail, surgery is sometimes the final step. Patients are understandably scaredof the prospect of surgery. Manyare worried about painful and prolonged recovery, as well as permanent scarring. It is because of these valid concerns of patients, that many surgeons have intensely investigated less invasive ways of treating back... read more

Doctor is a very excellent dr. not only does he have a great bedside manner, he is very delicate with the surgeries that he has performed (3) on my wife.. He has corrected the surgery from another surgeon (Dr. Tom#&+@) who actually left green stitching in her neck that did not dissolve, and they were poking on her nerves, driving her crazy with pain. SO... Yes, I would definitely recommend Doctor for your medical needs. signed: TP. Gonzalez
I was well pleased from my surgery by Dr Anaganost. He is compassionate and very caring. He wanted to help me be out of all the back pain I was having and set a plan for making that happen. I had confidence in him and his ability to do that. I have had the first of 2 surgeries and am about to have the second. The first has been successful and I expect this one to be the same.
Dr. Anagnost did minimally invasive surgery to repair disc damage in my neck in April, 2019. At the time I woke up after surgery, I could already tell the horrible pain I had for years, was no longer present. It is now nearing my 3 month follow-up, and I hope and expect to be released from Dr. Anagnost’s care at that time. This is an experienced, knowledgeable, and caring surgeon. Prior to meeting Dr. Anagnost, I had three back surgeries within a 10 week time span, and I very nearly lost my life. I wish I had known at that t... read more
I first met Dr. Anagnost a few years ago. I was having lower back pain, he prescribed physical therapy and pain management. With that and chiropractor treatments we managed to put off surgery, which was Dr. A’s goal. When the time came for surgery, Dr.A was in Pryor each week, so no long trip to Tulsa for me. I don’t know how he managed to fix my back with this tiny incision, but he did just that. I guess that is why he is an excellent surgeon. Dr A’s bedside maner is great , his staff is friendly and accommodating to my fam... read more
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 He is the best! I was in so much pain before surgery. He explains what he is going to do and answers any questions. Best bedside manners. I would recommend him to anyone who has back pain. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. Thank you Dr. Anagnost for taking the time to explain everything and getting rid of my pain. I can walk without hurting all time now. Thank you Kathy and Robin for everything you guys did for me. God Bless Dr. Anagnost and your staff and your families. ❤️
My opinion of Dr, A, is he is a gift from above. After consulting with 2 separate Orthopedic surgeons I chose Dr. A because of the shorter time of surgery & a much shorter recovery period. He fully explained the procedure & everything turned out GREAT. No more pain in my right leg. & a 4 week recovery period which I can already tell will eliminate the pain I had in my right leg. I was also informed the surgery took a little longer than expected because he found 4 bone spurs that didn't show up on the MRI. He also removed the... read more
It's a known fact, that if your provider recommends spinal surgery, you then proceed to get facts from a Spinal surgeon. To put your mind at ease it's best to get at least two (2), different opinions. I, however, did not with my first Cervical ACDF surgery 3 years ago. After surgery I suffered with excruciating pain, telling my doctors that something was very wrong. I was continually ignored, and was prescribed strong pain medications. I was even told that there were no problems seen on my MRI. Thankfully, I wised up and fou... read more
Dr. Anagnost performed Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery on me it was called a SI Joint Fusion. I suffered on and off for several years. In February of this year the pain started again from low back all the way down the right leg, limping, dragging right foot. Dr. Anagnost ordered MRI and X-rays, he diagnosed my problems and made a plan for me. My surgery was on May 17th, 2019. I felt good when I woke up from the anesthesia. My first time out of bed the pain was gone in my right leg, no limping or dragging the right foot. My ... read more
