When these measure fail, surgery is sometimes the final step. Patients are understandably scaredof the prospect of surgery. Manyare worried about painful and prolonged recovery, as well as permanent scarring. It is because of these valid concerns of patients, that many surgeons have intensely investigated less invasive ways of treating back... read more

I thought that I was going to choke to death or become paralyzed from having bone spurs in my throat the size of the end of my finger. I’m 79 years old and at my age the chances of surviving a surgery are slim, but Dr. Anagnost assured me everything would be fine. I’m doing great now,and would highly recommend him. Thank you for saving my life.

Was in sever pain and had to use Cain to help walk. He ran test and found that I had totally blown out a disc and needed surgery before permanent damage. Before surgery I was on pain meds from other doctors and had been on them for years. Since surgery I haven’t needed the pain medication. Thank you Dr. Anagnost.

I had back surgery for multi-level Spinal Stenosis by Dr. Anagnost. I was a little apprehensive, but Dr Anagnost visited me just before surgery and eased my mind about the procedure. It went well and all my pain was gone. I had not been without pain for a few years and it was a welcomed change. I would recommend him to anyone who needed this type of surgery.

I’ve lived with chronic back pain for the last 27 years, and often the pain has been excruciating. By far the worst of my pain was when my problem in my lumber spine would cause an electrical shocking sensation in my legs, which at times would be violent enough to cause my leg to jump a foot off the bed. Dr. Anagnost performed a minimally invasive laminectomy, and also removed a bone fragment that was pressing on my spinal cord. I immediately had DRASTIC improvement that, as of now, has lasted 3 weeks. I have had no more ele... read more

My name is Judith Fitzsimmons, Dr Anagnost did my Lumbar fusion surgery, in July. I am very happy with my results, there’s no pain any more, and very happy I had it done. I would recommend him to anyone one. He’s very caring, and ready to answer any questions that you have.

I highly recommend Dr. Anagnost. I was unable to walk more than a few minutes due to excruciating pain in my leg. Two weeks after my surgery, I went to Denver, Colorado to see the Rolling Stones. The day of the concert, I was able to walk 8 miles, up and down steep hills, and stood for approximately 3 hours with absolutely NO pain. It was like I got my life back. I was ecstatic! I had 2 previous back surgeries by a different doctor a few years ago and my incisions were about 10 inches long. Dr. Anagnost’s incision was so sma... read more

I was a patient of Dr. Anagnost approximately 10 years ago and had excellent results from my minimally invasive spinal surgery. Until recently, I've lived life virtually pain free. I recently reinjured my lower back and had to seek treatment again. Even though I have BCBS insurance, I am willing to seek treatment out of network just to have him treat my problem. I trust Dr. Anagnost completely and have always found him to be kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend Dr. Anagnost!
