I had never had surgery for anything, nor had I ever had sedation and a nerve block. Dr. Alter's expertise kept me calm before and after the surgery. He clearly explained what to expect throughout the healing process.All his staff, as well as those assisting at the surgery itself, were equally calming.
Speed, courtesy and efficiency are greatly appreciated!
Dr. Alter has always bee my go to doctor regarding inflammation of the joints in my hand and the mallet finger torn tendon without surgery! Er need more doctors like Dr. Alter that treat the root cause if possible… very pleased with the results of his treatment!

All the nurses were extremely friendly outgoing and attentive to my needs and concerns. The physician was very friendly and performed the surgery quickly, incision is clean and minimal scarring is expected

The staff. Are friendly. . there is never a long wait. All my questions are answered. And I always feel comfortable with my treatments.
I made an appointment to see a board certified MD hand specialist because pain and loss of function in my hands is a serious problem. 95% of my face time in the office was with a nurse practitioner. The MD arrived briefly in a rush, to rubber stamp her evaluation, except where he contradicted her. Both indicated they had not received surgical medical records from my main provider.
