We put our trust in Dr Shaikh for my 17 year old daughter for depression. He did not demonstrate a desire to help or understand. I would strongly caution anyone to consider alternatives before choosing Dr Shaikh. I have since spoken to another Dr. who found this doctor's actions ethically problematic. Also, assume a one hour wait but that was the least of our concerns.
Horrible office staff and they overbook patients, so you end up having to wait over an hour or more to be seen. Once in with the doctor, he writes your script and rushes on to the next patient. It's obvious he couldn't care less about his patients, otherwise, he would spend at least a few minutes asking how they're doing and if the medications are helpful. The lack of communication between the office staff is truly a shame. From my first visit-to my last, I saw 10+new faces at the front desk!

RUN away from this doctor! He makes constant prescriptions mistakes and refuses to refill meds, even when it was his error. Will mever call you back even in emergencies. And this is all for CHILDREN! Office wait times are hours long. Any review written otherwise is fake. Do not take your children to this man. The receptionist Gail is utterly rude and unprofessional. Sarah is great as a therapist but the others well just dont make it worth it. RUN
dr.muhhammad shaikh is very very very good he had helped me thru a lot he had shown me and taught me a lot about myself that I never knew , I'm glad I found the right doctor for myself if anyone chooses him for a doctor ul be very pleased I'm glad he understands me on what I try to explain to him about my problems! the office is very nice the ladies that work there are very nice also! Dr. Shaikh has saved my life. He is a fantastic psychiatrist, and he has an excellent staff. His therapists are also excellent, and these professionals are able to offer life-saving advice and behavioral therapy. Sure, you might have to wait a bit for your first appointment. However, such waiting is normal for all psychiatrist appointments for new patients. If you want an appointment, call and accept the waiting.
