Dr. Parrella did an ORIF on my left knee tibial plateau fracture. He said it would take 3 months to heal. Although it was a long and agonizing wait, I did what I was advised to do. After 3 months he ordered to physical therapy. 5 weeks later, I am walking again! Thank you Doc for all of your help! I will always remember u for the rest of my life.
I had a torn meniscus and he did surgery on me and he left my knee bone to bone. He later told me that all my cartilage had collapsed because of my arthritis and that he HAD to suck it all out during the knee surgery. He left me bone to bone and now I am in more pain. He was not honest with me in the inception to let me know what the results would be after he performed the knee surgery. I wished there had been other options before he left me bone to bone. I do not recommend him at all.
There is a Professional Discription about Dr. Stephen Rose that is right on target. His staff along with Dr. Rose are the most cordial and compassionate I have EVER had. I ended up having Corporal Tunnel surgery. I had both done at the same time. It went VERY SMOOTHLY. The post surgery support went over and beyond any expectations.
Absolutely one of the most compassionate people I’ve ever met. I wish he practiced in more medical areas. I broke two fingers and did not have them treated for a few weeks causing many more problems. I was afraid of permanent damage and lack of use. He was thorough in explaining I would need a few months of physical therapy. When having cortisone injections he knew I was nervous and he was calming. He truly is a remarkable man. He is one of the finest physicians I’ve ever met.
A great surgeon very caring and knowledgeable. Takes time to explain to you and family members what he will be doing. I have used other surgeons for orthopedic surgeries and he is by far the best.
Dr. Rose was wonderful! He was very hospitable, professional?, and personable. I felt very cared for. He listened to me and had lots of information to offer. He spent about 7-10 minutes with me. I had to wait about 20 minutes before seeing him, but that's less than many doctors I've been to see. His staff was cordial (front desk, x-ray technician, physical therapist coordinator), but not as friendly and personable as I'd like. I felt a bit like a number.
I saw him today after a recommendation from a friend. He fixed me up with a cortisone shot to my finger. After years of dull aching I think I'm cured. I truly wish I had seen him years ago. What a sweet gentle doctor. I highly recommend dr Stephen rose.
Dr. Gillory was fantastic. I can walk with my new hip and my life is so much better. He answered all questions, yea I waited a few times but well worth it.
Dr. Parrella's P.A. showed me an X-ray that was not actually mine and pressured me to schedule surgery immediately. I told him I wanted a 2nd opinion because the ER doctor had showed me a clean break that did not require surgery. He seemed inconvenienced by my questions and his assistant proceeded to try to talk me into surgery. I never interacted with Dr. Parrella directly, but his staff was intent on surgery. A 2nd ortho took a new Xray and showed a clean fracture requiring no surgery.
