I was immediately impressed on my first visit with Dr. Kayiaros and the staff at UOA. I left the office truly believing that my years of pain would soon come to an end! And since my surgery on August 7th, IT HAS!!!
Dr Kayiaros replaced my very painful, degenerated left hip with a perfectly fitted material joint. I believe his excellent surgical skills are the reason I had such a quick and virtually pain-free recovery. He is a truly gifted surgeon with a high level of expertise. One of the reasons I chose him was because I learned that he had pioneered in the procedure of anterior hip replacement surgery. The fact that he had done thousands of knee and hip replacement surgeries was also a major consideration for me. Doctors experienced ... read more
Had both total knee replacements done a year apart by Dr Kayiaros. Had a very professional, pleasant meeting with him, explained condition well, answered all my questions. Appointment was not rushed at all; post -op very good bedside manners and excellent pain control right from day one. Also great office staff Thank you Dr Kayiaros and staff
Dr. Kayiaros was extremely patient with all my questions. His office staff is excellent. I had my surgery done in their outpatient facility and it was first class from start to finish. The after care they provide is also excellent. My surgery went extremely well and after just 3 weeks I am walking 2 - 4 miles per day. Absolutely amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Kayiaros and University Orthopedics.
Had total knee replacement and was surprised at how little pain I had after surgery . Dr Kayiaros was very attentive and professional
Way back in 2002 I had a soccer accident and smashed my tibial plateau into several pieces. He used some of my iliac crest bone, two metal plates, and ten screws to mend it. It’s better than my other one to this day!
He is so busy that I had to wait longer for a new hip than I would have liked but the wait was worth it! Three weeks and I’m walking without pain or assistance. Thank you Dr K and wonderful staff.
Dr. Butler was the coldest, and least helpful doctor I have EVER seen. I saw him February 2023 for two issues: 1. He did a quick evaluation of my shoulder and said “this isn’t a big deal”. That’s it. No recommendations for physical therapy, no advice on what to do if it gets worse, no advice on what NOT to do so it didn’t get worse. To no one’s surprise, it got much, much worse. I went for a 2nd opinion elsewhere and quickly got a diagnosis. My nee doctor knows Butler and was NOT surprised by his attitude and lack of empathy... read more
