I bought a 2014 Honda CR-V from Steele Mitsubishi (Kempt Rd, Halifax) on March 20, 2025. At the time of sale I was told the air conditioning worked. This summer I found out it does not — the dealer’s own diagnostic confirmed the A/C compressor is dead and needs replacement. In the 5 months I’ve owned the car, I’ve only driven 1.4 km, so this problem was clearly there before I bought it. Very disappointing experience. The dealer sold me a car with serious transmission issues that were never disclosed. I haven’t even been able to repair it yet, but the cost of towing and transportation alone has already been very expensive. Be very careful dealing with this place.
So I had a car from here for 3 months now and I had nothing but issues since then and most is with the service center. I have bought a 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer from here and not even two days later the belt snaps on the car. I pointed it out before they gave it to me and still did nothing and some how the car passed saftey. Luckly the sales rep made sure it got done. (Which thank him again) The pads on the brakes was already passed half way as well I got told they wouldn't pass saftey if they was passed half way. The car still... read more
