My husband is a very frequent visitor here. He went today assuming he’d have a great experience as usual, and the girl (he’d never seen before) that was working had an attitude as soon as he walked in. His scrap weighed 300lbs and she paid him for 120. Just ONE of the motors he dropped was 190+lbs. So she rang him up for less than the weight of one motor. He watched the entire time. Don’t open their gate on time. Don’t waste your time here go to standard where people are willing to help you
Called ahead as I was going to be there right at the cutoff time. The girl said I would be ok but to hurry. She was very nice. I hurried. Pulled in right at 345 and the guy said the gate was closed.... But it was only halfway. And wouldn't take me. However they took someone else... Just plain rude. Standard Iron and Metal is always nice and if you're slightly late they have a little grace. This was my first and only trip to SA.
