I come here with my grandkids. We love it. We will be back in a couple weeks.
Seated and sat for 20 minutes without ever getting waited on. Worst service ever. Other people were leaving too.
I went in yesterday and told them I could sit at the counter since it was just myself. I waited 20 minutes before my order was finally taken. Another 20 minutes before I got my food and still had not even received my drink. I had to ask for my drink. It was literally the worst service I have ever experienced! They never apologized for my wait or anything. Will probably never go back to this location ever again.
Havent been to this steak n shake for awhile and now i know why..last time i was here (at least almost 6 months ago) i ordered through the drive thru and the drive thru lady was very rude..Went here earlier today ordered an royal double fries and coke..the lady taking the order(different lady than last time) repeated exactly what I said and said to pull around she seemed extremely nice so I was hoping they turned around the store..but no..she gave me my drink then i was asked to pull up..it was 10am so I wasn't really compla... read more
Terrible service in the drive-thru. Awful. Really embarrassing. The guy in the drive thru was completely incompetent and the "manager" wrote the book on excuses. Never offered to make it right. These people do not know how to provide good service. They could benefit from better training.
Had to wait a little bit too long to get a table in the basically empty restaurant (at 4am), but once I was seated the waitress was very nice, attentive, got my order taken, food was done in basically record timing (I assume because there was like 1 other group there) and everything was accurate and tasted great. I always prefer this location over the Champaign one, will definitely be back some late night.
