State Street Cafe has always been very good. Unfortunately the same great Chicken Ceasar salad I have had for years they decided to change..They are using a new vendor or source for their chicken breast. Its definitely not as good as the other chicken they were using....Unfortunately I wont be ordering that dish anymore or anything with the "new"chicken.. :(
An excellent place to go for breakfast or lunch. It was breakfast time. However, I had to have the Greek Salad. Love it there!

Absolutely, hands down, the BEST breakfast in the area. I'm embarrassed to say, I've lived in Hamden for nearly 30 years and only discovered this place about 6 months ago. I've been here 3 times for breakfast and each time was perfect! Next time, I'd like to have one of their lunch salads, which sound lovely.
