Awesome time at the Illinois VS. Maryland game last night. Great seeing everyone from @suburbanillini and @uiaa alumni association.
The remodel is beautiful. We took our grandson early to visit the Sports Museum. It was great until they told everyone to leave so they could vacuum. It did not reopen prior to the game. Couldn't they do this during the game??? Our grandson thoroughly enjoyed the game but was disappointed not seeing the entire museum.
Place looks GREAT! Def like all the orange and blue ambient lightning & new BIG SCOREBOARD!! Could always use some more leg room but oh well.... DJ/Sound man needs to get crowd more involved when crowd is down/students gone tho, cuz when they did the crowd got hyped
I had a great time watching the men's basketball team play.
Top notch. We had a wonderful family night together at our 1st visit to the State Farm Center for a game. Friendly staff, very helpful and they all seem to enjoy their jobs!
The renovations have definitely freshened up the look of the State Farm Center. More bathrooms, especially for women, is a huge help. It is more user friendly. The biggest fault, and it's a BIG one, is that the seats are not made for adults. They're way too narrow for most women's butts. I'm not even sure most college students can fit into them.
So glad we got to be a part of the team that made this place a great place to see a game,a show ,or any thing they for that matter. Great job team members
I love the new restrooms on the upper concourse. Also the the video board and sound system is awesome.
The renovations to the State Farm Center are phenomenal! Cudos to all those involved, I know construction on this scale is a monumental task.
