About this business
Almost 150 years after Colorado was the 38th state admitted to the union, State 38 Distilling was established to celebrate the western beauty that is Colorado by hand crafting small batch spirits using only organic ingredients and crisp rocky mountain water, forging quality spirits by getting back to basics. We ONLY use Fair Trade 100% Organic Raw Blue Agave and Hand-Milled Grains as the base for all our spirits. Private Parties and VIP Tours available - please contact us to schedule.

Was amazed by the value of stock held in that small area. I had to take a bottle home�.
I got a bottle as a gift, and this has become my favorite tequila or agave beverage as State 38 calls it. This is not sold in Utah, but I make excuses to go to Colorado to get some. I've done the tour and it was interesting to see the facility

Fantastic experience. The head distiller is a hoot and tells it like it is. Very educational and the spirits and cocktails are really good! Highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience hanging out drinking some cocktails. Our bartender was great, making awesome recommendations, and made our time there very enjoyable. We are for sure coming back next time we are in town, and suggest anyone to come in for good drinks.

The owner is the best dude to have a drink with, the company is great to work with particularly in community engagement, and the product speaks for itself-that agave vodka�!! Great find hidden in Golden! Tour was interesting and we got lucky to stop in on a night the owner Sean was hosting and got to listen first hand how it all started! We sampled the Vodka, Gin, Anejo and Whiskey and each one was unique and very tasty. Looking forward to visiting the newly opened bar downtown Golden.
