Almost 150 years after Colorado was the 38th state admitted to the union, State 38 Distilling was established to celebrate the western beauty that is Colorado by hand crafting small batch spirits using only organic ingredients and crisp rocky mountain water, forging quality spirits by getting back to basics. We ONLY use Fair Trade 100% Organic Raw Blue Agave and Hand-Milled Grains as the base for all our spirits. Private Parties and VIP Tours available - please contact us to schedule.

They have an impressive setup for their small operation. We had fun with the tour and learned a couple of things about the distilling process. I really enjoyed the Anejo which was no joke! I am looking forward to sharing this place with my friends!
Tasted Tequila's, Bourbon and Scotch. All were stellar but if I had to choose, the Bourbon comes out on top! Great products and I can't wait for the wheat and the rye to be released...

My fiance suprised me with a visit to State-38 yesterday...what a great little find! JT was a great host & we enjoyed the tour with him. All the tequilas were great, and it felt like we were hanging out with family. Can't wait for the margarita bar!
What a great little place! I had a few drinks there-all were excellent! But my favorite was the smoky Old Fashioned. It is a MUST have. I can’t remember the bartender’s name (curly mustache) but he was phenomenal! I’d come back here again in a heartbeat. And the prices were reasonable, especially considering the high quality of the product!
These guys are amazing. Not only are they some of the most welcoming people I have ever encountered, they also happen to make incredibly good spirits. They might seem out of the way from Denver, but State 38 is a must for any spirits lover.
