If you're going to go to Stairways, make sure you go to this one if you have the chance. Their State St. location is for their ACT program, which you have to be referred to, and it does not operate the way this clinic does. Becky, the woman who runs this clinic, is a very knowledgeable and understanding woman. There were several times she took the time to personally speak to me regarding issues I was having at the other clinic. The psychiatrist prescribed me a medication and gave me A titration pack to go up in dosage. While on this sample package, I became very sick, Severely nauseous, Headache, Dizziness, and joint pain. I called in to find out how to stop the medication and see if they would prescribe me an anti-nausea medication they told me NO!!! They said that it would only be in my system for a few days and I should be fine. This place doesnt have typical great service, dont kid yourself whoever responds to these reviews. You should monitor your therapists and psychiatrists and see how they treat their patients. The psychs/therapists let their personal beliefs interfere with their patient interactions and will use you as an emotional punching bag if you dont align with their personal beliefs.
I came In as a new patient recently because I was experiencing aggressive, anxiety,anger mood swings. I saw Dr Richman and explained to him how I was feeling. Wouldn't you believe it he prescribes me wellbutrin, side effects are irration, aggression, anger. Now I'm sitting here feeling 10x worse, lost a day of work can't get ahold of anyone.
