My husband has been on 6 West for almost a week. All of the nurses and techs have been really nice. Sara, Elizabeth, and Yolanda were amazing. Dr. Aure is so wonderful. She is friendly and explains everything in a way we can understand. The whole team has taken such good care of my husband.
St. Mary's Urgent Care Epworth is not a very good place to seek treatment. I called to see how long the wait was and I was told about 15 minutes. I've been sitting here over an hour. Multiple people have come and gone and nothing for me. Sitting here in pain while everyone around you is taken back is ridiculous. I've seen two other people get up and walk out frustrated as well.
You don't want my opinion. Bad service in more than one department
Dr Grimm should have respect for the family waiting on the outcome of the surgery. We waited for 2 hours to talked to the doctor. We knew it could be an 1/2 hour as they told us that, but then no one could find him. My sister was already in her room and asked where her family was. Not very pleased with this.
We have been using St Mary's for 40+years. We have always received great care,however my father has been in here for the last three days and we have never seen things so disorganized and slow. Communication within the department, 5th floor cardiac is non existent. Dirty food trays stack up all day. When I ask questions the staff gets very defensive. I actually try and tip toe around to try and stroke their egos. It sad because I would never have thought about going somewhere else before. Not so much anymore. One bright spot ... read more
All the doctors was right and gave me all the stuff I wanted ..They know what they where doing..
St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville IN is awesome! They are so friendly and caring. They have taken excellent care of my wife since she had her back surgery. We are greatful for their staff and a special thank you to Dr Grimes the surgeon who performed the surgery. He is so caring and takes the time to explain everything. I would highly recommend him and St Mary's Hospital for excellent care.
The staff in ICU is exceptional. They care to your every need and make sure you are comfortable. Took great care of my mother. Nice to see bed side manor is present in this hospital.
My daughter was in same day for hysterectomy, Dr. Herman Reid was amazing, he prayed w us and brought a calm to an anxious patient. Nursing staff was awesome! And the phlebotomist named clara was awesome, she took blood and was gentle and kind . Thank you for caring staff! April Mills Allendale, Illinois
