My father was brought to emergency on Saturday night with cardiac arrest. We informed them at the desk that we were there and the told us to be seated. He was pronounced dead at 8:02 and no one came to see us until after 8:30 (last time I checked my watch.) They gave us false hope. Because he arrived at 7:55 all we could think was that they had revived him and were still attending to him. Why would it take 30 minutes to tell the family that someone had passed? Room looked clean but had a bad odor. Overall Service was rating 2 out of 5. l tried to contact corporate by email & by telephone. No luck.
I love my doctor and the staff, but the billing department is somewhat shady. I received my statement at the end of January. I knew it was late because we didn't get mail delivery due to the weather, but that was only a few days. Anyway... The statement was for services that were rendered and not paid for lack of insurance. But I have insurance! It gets better. The next envelope I open is from a collection agency for the same statement, and it's dated the day after the statement. So now the disputes begin!
RecommendedI’ve had some surgery and some care here the Nurses are the best. It’s like a five star hotel when I stayed there...very clean and security was very helpful also. The coffee shop I love smell as I go in to pick up scripts. I do recommend this hospital. MRGO/OTLEY
Compassionate care, quick response
I spent 2 nights here this weekend and am very impressed with the staff. Everyone from the ER to my floor in the South Wing was amazing (i think I was room 3144?) . My nurses were Markie and Carol Anne and they along with the PCAs were super caring and nice. Every doctor (including the ER doctors) was so kind and seemed to be on the same page with my care plan. Overall I only have great things to say about this place.
I had surgery on 10/11/2018 my surgery was good after being in the hospital a few days it went down hill. My 1st issue not so bad I went to take a shower come back waiting on the PCA to change my bed she only changed my sheets. When my Nurse came in I addressed it and it was taken care of. 2 days later I hear my IV machine beeping I reach up to turn it off and noticed the bag was empty I call the PCA and tell her after 2 hrs they come n to take my blood IV is now bad. Their ER staff sucks! They had my father in the hallway for 6 hours and tried to send him home with a broken neck. He is 74 years old and he trip and hit his head. He had tingling in his fingers and he was very weak. He couldn’t even stand. The doctors never asked about his numb arms or legs. They literally gave him discharge papers and had him sign it to go home. He couldn’t even hold the pen! It look like a two year old signed the papers. DOORWAY TO RECOVERY - Recovery Homes Absolutely terrible environment for recovery and housing for both men & women. Director/Owner/Manager MARK BURCHELL claims many accolades and accomplishments that are completely false and fabricated stories. The deceptive and misleading image he portrays at all times used mostly to cover-up past scandals with sexually abusing/assaulting women members & continues to blackmail those less fortunate and addicts struggling in a desperate situation.
