My sister went to St Luke's ER. She had pain on upper chest right side. After tech pretended to take xray. Dr. says cant find nothing wrong. Not even the congestive heart failure another dr from that hospital said she had. Sent her home with nothing. 1 week later, her friend took her to Essentia Health ER. Found out she has Pleurisy. MRSA between her lung and lung lining. And yes she has congestive heart failure, so they cant operate cuz her heart cant take it. Tube in her back to drain infection. Antibiotics through IV. The nursing staff on 4 West took amazing care of my husband during his surgery recovery. Michelle worked a double with a smile!! The entire staff were kind and compassionate. Dr. Macnutt was very personable and we trusted him completely.
I hear the nicest icu dieticians work there.
4 hr wait in ER waiting room. Glad it's not an emergency!
