Get directionsMy son was there to get his tonsils removed, all the surgery staff were AMAZING! Dr. Leonard was phenomenal as well. Unfortunately he experienced an unforeseen complication due to his form of sickle cell disease. We were moved to 8 East to monitor him and take care of these complications. Every staff member we had was awesome!!! From nurses to techs to respiratory and physicians/residents I couldn't have asked for better care!!! There are way too many people to mention here, but know that we will never take our son anywhere ... read more
We've spent the last 7 years with the endocrine department at St Louis Children's. My daughter and I have never been treated kinder than this place. Everyone is so nice and helpful and professional.
I loved this place we stayed there 4 years ago for my sisters heart transplant they have the best staff and playroom for siblings and crafts and it's really awesome for families
I just tried to make a neurology appointment for my son to get a second opinion on a condition and I was told that they won't schedule an appointment without getting records of every test he's ever done. I asked what they would do if there was a child that was sick and needed to be seen but hadn't had a hundred tests done before. She said they wouldn't let that child see a specialist. How incredibly elitist are these doctors that they won't see children that need help without them having tests and diagnoses done at other hos... read more
I went with my son to a SDR surgery! All the doctors, nurses and staff envolved are GREAT!
Thank you for making my daughter better every time
I took my son to the new facility at 64 & Mason. They set an appt with a nurse practitioner without asking or disclosing. Then they sent us down for blood work and ran $2,000 worth of allergy blood work without informing me of the excessive costs. To top it off, no results from the blood work. Very disappointed in their lack of knowledge & most disappointed in their lack providing costs to let me make an informed decision. Would not recommend this facility at all!
My daughter was sent to Children's due to a local hospital not having the speciality bottles that she need due to her being born with cleft palate. She wasn't eating, so they pushed iv fluids and a feeding tube. After 4 days of her not getting any better but worse, couldn't keep her sugar or temp up and her white blood count was so high the sent her to Children's. After just a day her temp and sugar was regulating and her white count add jumped from 27-6. We were told the cleft bottles our local hospital had given us was lik... read more
I'm reviewing based on billing- and the billing office employees. It's too bad because I know Children's is a great hospital... but unfortunately billing and costumer service is a huge part of how a hospital is run. And in our cased dealing with the overinflated billing (even with insurance) will be affecting us for awhile. I have had such a horrible experience this morning dealing with Children's Hospital. My son has serious (including several potentially life threatenin...Continue Reading
