The doctors in the nicu saved my son's life. I'm eternally grateful for this hospital and staff.
They saved my life. I am the 2nd kid n this state to reviece the Berlin heart @ the time I got it, it was not fda aprroved @ the time, 5 days later I got my new heart 8~20~06. I was 17 @ the time am now 26. Next year will b my 10 year mark.
My son had to do a Mri Friday and we was treated with respect by all the staff members except one which was in my opinion was rude
On May 31,2015 my 16 year old daughter was initionally brain dead but they got her heart beating again and did everything they could to save her, but she didn't make it, the nurses and Dr's were very compassionate, caring and heartfelt,sympathetic I appreciate everything they tried to do for my daughter.

I wish there was a 10 star option. Very appreciative for each and every person including the housekeeping staff, billing department, nurses, and surgeons. My son was taken to Children's NICU at 12 hours of life. I got there right after they brought our son in and everyone was so helpful! I was a wreck but everyone kept me informed about what they were doing and keeping me calm. They even provided us with a parents room with our own bathroom, a breast pump, a fridge to store the milk, everything I needed considering I had jus... read more
It wasn't how I wanted to spend a whole week but I love how nice each one of the workers are they all made us feel at home and kept my baby happy and got her all better thanks to each and everyone of your doctors and nurses for working all hours around the clock to find out what was wrong with my baby. ☺ thank you to all the workers on 8 west
Best transplant team. My daughter received her second chance November 5, 2012. She just celebrated her 3rd !breath day.
If it weren't for St Louis Children's Hospital, my youngest boy would not be here today. He was born with dilated cardiomyopathy and it was discovered when he was 2 months old. Our local hospital air lifted him to Children's where we stayed for almost 2 weeks. Today, he is a perfectly healthy 9 year old with no ongoing heart problem. We owe it all to Dr Balzer and his staff and the amazing Dr's at Children's.
