Great hospital... but beware of billing department. Despite meeting maximum out of pocket and paying every invoice that arrived, they sent us to collections over $56.46 (after they have collected over $100k between us and our insurance company). Long story short- obtain written proof of completion before they attack your credit over relatively speaking "pocket change", and then refuse to speak with you

When I initially arrived to the ER, there was a lot of miscommunication between the attending, the fellow, the resident, and the rest of the staff. With that said, we were still taken care of. Once admitted and placed on the floor (8th), we were treated the best we have ever been. Any hospital period. Superb. Treated me with respect and let me know exactly what was going on every step of the way. I can't say enough how much this hospital has been a blessing to our family!. Our son wwas in California visiting an was in a terrible car accident. Children's hospital sent their own transport team to u.c.l.a. picked upour so and bbrough him home.we had little Money.and they undrstood FAMILY! And helped bring our son home.since he ha been here their staff has worked with our son and he has made such an improvement each time we coe to see him h has made more improvement it truley amazes us the way they care here.I love this ... read more

They are the worst place that i have ever been to the staff there is very unprofessional and always in your personal life. And always try and make the mothers more of a bad guy then the dads. But then they even try to make the dads look bad also. If I ever have another child I will never take them back to childerns ever again. My experience with them was not enjoyable experience with me and my family. I will take my children to either St. Mary's or cardinal. My family is so thankful for this hospital and the doctors that saved my sons life with a lung transplant. They were all very good with him and also gave the best care they could for my son. Thank you we couldn't thank you all enough. Keep up the good work �

My daughter was in the nicu for 6 months until she lost her battle august 8th. The nurses in the nicu are so kind and sweet and continue to support us in the days to come. Everyone did their best to learn about her rare disease and try to find the best treatment for her. This hospital is amazing.

If it wasn't for wasn't for St. Louis children's hospital i wouldn't found the right diagnosis I have today if it wasn't for Dr Lynn sterni I wouldn't have found out what was causing my pain and I wouldnt have the treatment plan I have today. St. Louis children's hospital is amazing. They doctors listen and explain things well to me and my family I don't trust any other hospital for my care.

It's a great hospital when we are outpatient but inpatient is a little bit different. She was in her room 9 hrs before anyone brought bedding. Hopefully tonight goes a little better.
