Recommendedthe hospital is a pleasant caring facility with knowledgeable doctors , nurses and admin folks.
It seems St. Joseph lets their ICU Internists speak to its patient's families with a nice "rudeness tone" when all they are doing is asking a question but are made to feel stupid or have wasted the internist's time by how they {Internist} speak to them and when asking for a call back from Specialists it never happens; as again they feel like the patient's families do not need the time of day for a question.
I’d never recommend this hospital to anyone. And I’ll never go back! I have never been treated so badly and like I just don’t matter! I am pregnant and came in for a number of symptoms was told my tests were normal which I found out later I had an infection. I was told a gush of blood was normal and was sent home after 30 minutes and talked to like I’m completely clueless. Not to mention the nurse did not pay much attention to me at all. I have had good experience there but, for one Dr who didn’t take Medicare and was going to charge me $835 for not taking tests . If Dr doesn’t take Medicare he shouldn’t work at St. Joseph’s Medical 🏥 Center. I was never billed by St. Joseph’s Medical 🏥 Center nor no other Dr. ever billed me if I have to come again for an emergency 🚨 I will ask if the Dr. takes Medicare if he doesn’t I will request a Dr. that does otherwise I like St. Joseph’s Medical 🏥 Center.

I lived in Stockton for 30 years. I chose to be treated at Dameron Hospital. I did not wish to be treated in a Catholic hospital.
Despite my experience in the ER, my son was recently admitted to pediatrics. I cannot stress over how caring and compassionate the nurses are. Yvette, Cyndi, Lavetta and Annabelle took such great care of my son during his entire 4 day stay. They are knowledgeable, professional, attentive and very passionate in everything they do. I am so pissed, my daughter had treatment, I HAVE INSURANCE and St Joseph's are billing me $34,906.00 for an ER visit of less than 6 hours !!!!! I have asked them to bill my insurance and they can not figure that out and have been sending me bills for $34,906.00 for the last 9 months So So lame !!
