Don’t waste your time or copay going to this emergency room My daughter was told by a specialist and primary care doctor to go to ER upon arrival we waited 51/2 hrs to be seen and left there two hours later with NO answers or tests other than a urine test. When asked why no other tests were to be performed we were told she did not present any conditions warranting further tests. Hmm blood in urine Paine in back difficulty urinating BUT no infection. Seems to me the triage nurse should be the DR in back she said they will do ... read more

They don't take any issues seriously. the surgeon tells you one thing on the phone and then when you come in, changes the story and says were just going to give you fluids (that'll be the third time receiving fluids, OBVIOUSLY that isn't fixing the problem.) this place is a joke and were never coming back.

St Joseph's Endoscopy. He was scheduled for a 2:40 appt. He arrived an hour early as directed, and hadn't eaten since 10 pm the night prior. You took every patient but him. He finally had his procedure at 5:30. We left at 7. Was it his Medicaid managed insurance that dictated no explanation or apology until I asked? You just left him there all day with an IV and no attention? My daughter's bf. I couldn't scream because if we were being discriminated against....it would have reinforced what you thought of us all along...... n... read more

I was referred to Dr. Charles J. Lutz for consult about a Mitral Valve repair surgery for my heart last fall. Dr. Lutz and his team completed the surgery while using the Robotic Davinci Device morning of January 29, 2019, and was discharged Feb. 1st 2019 in mid afternoon. I found that every aspect of testing at pre Op. registration, admission, prep, surgery and post surgery to be problem free and the compassion and care I was able to receive there was top notch in my book. I'm only about 8 days out as I work at full healing ... read more

The ER and Observation doctors and nurses do not communicate with each other. They sit around wasting everyone’s time. I can’t tell you how many times we have heard one blame the other. The doctor will say one thing and then the nurse will say “well the doctor didn’t tell us” or “the out-going nurse didn’t say anything”. How long should ones buzzer be going off before someone arrives? Then when you ask about updates, the nurses are rude and make short comments and again blame others. Get your stuff together St Joes. You cert... read more

My wife and I went to get physicals on 12/4/2018. She got billed for an allergist appointment. We got told that we shouldn't have said anything about medical history while establishing a care with the doctor, because by talking about medical history we made it a normal office visit and not a physical. So, when you go to St. Joseph's do not, under any circumstances open your mouth and say a word or you'll apparently be billed for whatever they feel like billing you for. Dishonest and deceptive.

You sedated and performed a procedure on someone, without their consent (you anally raped them) THEN you billed them and when they rightfully refused payment you threatened them with collection actions?! What kind of "hospital" are you running? This is sick. You should be ashamed, but I doubt it. Either way, you'll certainly be sued. Disgusting.
