This is the first time that I had seen a patient walk out from the 4th floor after spinal surgery and not be wheeled out. One slip and fall would of shut them down. Staff was not very pleasant
My girlfriend and I had the worst experience here she came in with abdominal pain and severe vomiting. They ordered a ct and told us it was perfectly fine. Then the rather rude np who didn't listen about any medications that work for her also told us she is getting sick and having pain because she uses weed to sleep. Ummm does that sound right to you? The lack of communication between doctors and staff at this facility is absolutely appalling. My father was a patient on 1-5 for several weeks, only a handful of nurses on this unit give the care that every patient should receive. The two attending physicians lacked experience and the oncology (Hematology-Oncology of CNY) department is a tremendous joke. Any time that my father had left, this facility stole by dragging their feet with their misdiagnosis.
Hey lets get a bigger building in caz thats HIPAA compliant and my neighbors don't need to hear my personal health info in the reception area! Oh and when you make an appointment conveniently online let's make sure we get in on time and not 40mins after the scheduled time! So spend money to make some money!
well i went there because i thought i was having chest pain abdominal cramping and a miscarriage because i was and still am having vaginal bleeding on the 29th of September. My blood pressure was 151/89 & they still had me wait for 2 hours just to keep me for 2 hours to send me home with questions unanswered but I guess i was fine because my blood pressure dropped down to 132/56. They took about 7 viles of blood from me which i did not receive any results from them which included an HIV test which i still dont know the resul... read more
The emergency room is horrible. When my son was 2 months old I took him to ST.JOSEPHS. His fever was 103 he kept crying and crying wouldn't stop. We came at am didn't get seen until 8 PM that's horrible. I kept going to the front desk asking for help so my son can be seen no one seemed to care. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN...
I want to thank all the wonderful fun awesome nurses that took care of me and my needs in the st joes hospital. Among them are Beth Angela Ruth Becky. Blood withdrawals Lisa Elaine hill the surgeon for my foot the docs the er nurses also two male nurses egor and Stephan. And many more nurses and there teams that make their patients comfortable and really love what they do thank you from my heart
St. Joe's Hospital saved my life several times, been there many times, never had a bad experience!!
