I had my routine blood work drawn the day before my Doctors visit. When going over the results with my Doctor it did not look like my blood work at all. So many things were off but the biggest was the liver function was very high and the kidneys were iat kidney failure numbers. If my doctor had not been following me so closely I could have paid to go to a specialist that I did not need, I could have been put on meds I did not need, paid for test I did not need etc. i had my blood drawn again in less than 24 hours and the res... read more
I was treated for breast cancer last fall. I received excellent care from the breast center at my time of diagnosis, in surgery for my lumpectomy and in radiation for 4 weeks of therapy. Wonderful people!
I have been in the waiting room for over an hour. Less then 12 months ago I had a pulmonary embolism I'm showing signs of another possible pe and I have had 6 people go back before me. Considering that there is a 70% chance of sudden death I think I should be seen sooner then later
RecommendedI see a lot of bad reviews!!! Maybe the staff skills was refined by the time I was admitted into the hospital. I recently spent 21 days in this hospital not long after moving here from Alabama. The Doctors found serious conditions that had been overlooked in the past by Alabama doctors. I was transferred to 5 different rooms during my stay here, including MICU... although the Nurses/CNA staff was very nice they was always short staffed and I could never get anyone there on time to help me to the bathroom. I took my dad to the ER Sunday evening and had Dr. Troy Christian Rock who was terrible!!!! St. Elizabeth ER has got to be the worst ER ever!!!! My dad had a stroke and they ran tests on him one being a CT Scan. No one told us the results were 80% blockage on one side and 70% on the other. Dr Rock said it was fine. REALLY!!!! While I was talking to him trying to get answers to my questions he was walking away bc he had to get a phone call and said he would be back. HE NEVER CAME BACK!!!!!
