Recommendedi wasn't a patient, but my Grandfather was. Unfortunately, he passed away yesterday during this awful COVID-19 pandemic from an unrelated illness. Due to hospital policies, understandably, no one was allowed to visit to be there in his last minutes. Thankfully, Nurse Erika and a couple other nurses not only cared for him in his last days, but allowed my mom and I to talk to him on videochat the night before he passed.
