I am 68, on Soc. Sec. and I barely meet my mortgage payments and am behind on all utilities and I have explained this to the folks at this company but they continue to threaten me with legal action and are about to hurt my credit rating over $186 because they won't accept the thousands of dollars they already collected for my procedure. I think the care in the ER is appalling. There 7 hours before being admitted. Never offered so much as a glass of water. Pain meds, once prescribed, took over an hour (on 2 occasions!) to receive. Wasn’t particularly busy as gurney next to me was empty for most of my time there. Beds are crammed together. Paint is peeling and dingy. Nurses lie (heard one say to another “tell her the truth”). I want to give a nice review to st. Charles ER for being open and giving me treatment inside the hospital and also for giving me scripts to help me get better. I have had a cough and basically lots of other symptoms for almost a month. I kept hearing about it possibly being allergies but I didn’t see it. They explained it was probably viral bronchitis. I was coughing really hard but not constantly. Thank you and appreciate all your hard work.

RecommendedCan’t say enough good things about hospital and staff. From the ER to my emergency surgery, from the doctors to the nurses, can’t recommend enough. Spent a week there in ICU and then the pediatric floor. Michelle and Ed in ICU were the best! Also Angelina, Janice, and a few other nurses in pediatrics whose names escape me. Thank you all so much!
