My brother had quadruple bypass surgery on Tuesday March 26th and they are trying to discharge him from the ICU on Sunday with no plans for rehabilitation. We asked for a social worker and only called us once. Left a message!! Newly diagnosed diabetes and has to wear an external pacemaker. Really??? No case manager. So you send him home to do what?? We need to put him in a facility and have no guidance. What happened to a step down room from ICU?

RecommendedI Just wanted to Thank the 3rd floor nurses. I was there for 9 days. Christmas Eve to New year's Day. You were all so amazing! Kristen you were the best nurse! I had so many great nurses that were So kind, and so attentive and for that I want to thank you all! Linda, DeAndra, Michael, Natalye, Josie, I may be killing these names, or completely wrong, or even forgot some but I am so thankful for all of you!
Staff has taken over the family lounge. How uncaring of patients and their family. Parking lot blocked off at 600 am in the morning.
