I am 15 days pp and, is currently going thru PPD and the maternity ward is amazing. Their constantly checking up on baby and I. Thank you guys so much because only God knows how many times I've thought of killing myself since we've been home.
I sat in the waiting room and waited for my husband . while i waited, a woman came in and collapsed.. She was screaming and writhing in pain. She was puking up blood and eventually passed out from the pain she was in and fell out of her wheelchair. The front desk nurse moseyed on over. Taking her sweet time.. And then told the woman who was begging the Lord for help...that "there is nothing we can do.." seriously. SERIOUSLY?!
Drove my brother there last week for some outpatient surgery. Procedure went well, and the staff was very nice.
I was here for oh god may 30th- july 30th and i love it and the nursing staff was wonderful had a couple that rubbed me wrong but over all it was a wonderful and enlightening stay :) my baby was well taken care of in nicu for 4 weeks :)
I understand the hospital is busy. But the level of care for patients and families leaves a lot to be desired. Basics like visitor chairs not being available in patient rooms, and attitude exhibited by certain staff when asked simple questions, are not making this hospital experience for my dad a good one. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who has a choice in hospitals.
