I must say I had a pleasant experience today in the emergency room from check-in to discharge. There's a few things I would have changed but it's a thousand times better than any of these other hospitals that I've gone to or taking people to

The worst customer service in the billing department. It takes an act of God to talk to a person and the front line customer service people have canned responses w/ no real information behind it. The website states to mail deputes via the USPS. What? This is 2020! I am switching healthcare providers for this reason alone. I have to speculate the employees are being treated just as bad as the customers. Just terrible.

I called and made an appointment on my only day off this week to see my doctor so I could get a referral for an Orthopedic surgeon. When I get there on said appointment day(today) they tell me that the appointment wasn't until the next day(tomorrow) and acted like it was my fault that they put it in the computer wrong. I wouldn't make an appointment for when I had to be at work. That was a mistake on their part! Highly unprofessional and rude!

Absolutely horrible!!! To many friends and family got sick and died from being there. Believe this: I was stripped searched at one in the morning with my husband there. I had to stand and they looked EVERYWHERE. Humiliating experience. Two nurses told me if I didn’t do this I could not be admitted to the hospital. I believe I was on the 4 th floor.😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

We were referred to the emergency care @ Western and Turnpike from the urgent care on 63rd and Broadway because we needed to see a specialist. We drove straight over from the one to the other told them we were referred over by them. They cleaned the eye again and gave us a specialist downtown which we made an appointment the next day. They charged 300 to clean the eye the first time and then 1300 the second time sending us across town to specialist when apparently had one in the building. Karma my friends it will find you! Thank you, thank you to all of the wonderful staff who helped my chocking cowboy last night..starting with the ER at the facility on Memorial, to the staff downtown in the observation unit and the Gastro group. All were kind, caring, generous and helpful. You were absolutely the best.
