RecommendedI absolutely love this hospital and its staff. They are very attentive and caring. I want to give a big shout out to nurse Kathie up on floor 5 who i had the (unfortunate for me being in the hospital) great pleasure of having as my nurse yesterday morning and the morning before. She is truly exceptional as a nurse and a human being. You can tell she not only loves her job but she also truly cares about people. I don't like to make negative post and hurt anyone's reputation. I feel I have to let someone know what happen to my father at this hospital. Let me also state that this has always been my hospital of choice. My mother in law before passing was treated here. My father in law had 5 strokes in a year and we took him to this hospital all 5 times My father was hospitalized and found out he had cancer from this hospital. This time was little different. At around 9pm my gf had called her on call nurse with complaints of high blood pressure and a few other symptoms related to high blood pressure. They advised to go straight to the emergency room. We arrived at about 10:30 to a not busy ER. Now, over two hours later we are still waiting. Multiple people that have checked in within the last 30 minutes have gotten rooms, but not us. Not what I expect from the reviews this facility receives.
VERY dirty waiting rooms, bathrooms, trash not changed for 2 days. elevators had trash in them. Staff has no bedside manner/rude.
Had an awesome experience if I have a choice I will always go to St Claire’s
