My husband received great care while he was there BUT could someone explain why you would send a man home when he can’t even stand up from a bed or chair because he’s so weak and his wife works full time and isn’t strong enough to move him from a chair to a wheelchair? No arrangements were made for home care nor did they even ask what the home situation was. Oh there’s a nurse that may come ONCE a week but that’s it. You people fail to truly care for your patients but I guess there’s not enough money in it!
RecommendedExcellent care and great communication between care team and patients. I was treated promptly and had the best nurses, nurse practitioners, doctors, care partners, pharmacists, pharmacy techs, dietary workers, and even one EMT student. I will continue to come to St. Clare for all my health needs.
The entire staff was very understanding of me and my family when my mom died 2 years ago. the Dr gave all her other patients to another attending so she could focus on my mom whowas only 50
I was seeing Dr. Mogassbi in the clinic until he moved out of state. I will return as soon as you hire someone in his spot. Any idea how long?
The most caring hospital I have ever been treated at. My now former hospital could not get me in for an urgent procedure so my Dr got me in at SSM St Clare Mercy in Fenton. This procedure was a very painful one with only a local at my previous hospital so I was not looking forward to it at all. The radiologist, Dr Andre Strzembosz came in and was uplifting and calming from the moment he spoke. The procedure was absolutely painless with only a local as well. I took my 1 year old son here in May of last year and they mis diagnosed him twice in one night. We ended up going because he was belly breathing really bad and had a high fever. They took a chest x ray and checked his ears. Said his ears were fine and his lungs looked good. Mind you he’s already on the oxygen. They then called an ambulance to transport him to mercy. When we get there I come to find out he had a double ear infection and a bad case of pneumonia. We were hospitalized for a week
In August of 2016 my mother was seen in the emergency room for back and hip pain that was unbearable. She was diagnosed with severe scoliosis and told to do stretches and yoga to help. She followed your instructions and in February of 2017 after she got to the point where she could barely walk she went to mercy Jefferson and within one hour was diagnosed with lung cancer that had gone to her bones. On Halloween 2017 my 8yr old son was brought by ambulance to the ER. He was stable upon arriving, Dr. Darnold, chief of pediatric medicine, was unable to intubate him, and had not been trained on the necessary equipment to be able to do so. They made him unable to breathe, and then were unable to help him do so. Through their negligence my son died in the ER in the care of people who were supposed to protect him.
