I recommend going to ANY emergency room besides this one. My grandma, whom is in early heart failure, diabetic, and has been fighting some sort of virus was so neglected by this facility. She was there last night and they sent her home with no treatment, when treatment was available to help her be able to even breathe. Was taken in again today, because she couldn’t breathe. The staff is NOT friendly at all. I forgot my debit card when I abruptly left to pick up my child due to a possible broken leg and they refused to bill the 40$ co-pay. It’s 40$ .. get outta here !
RecommendedHaving to go to the hospital is never fun. However I do have to give kudos to the staff during this pandemic! With my mother having to have a stay due to a concerning health issue, I was very grateful that the staff stayed in touch with me and kept me informed as to what her situation was! They have a lot of work to do taking care of all the patients, and adding communication with family is added work but greatly appreciate it! Thank you to the entire staff! Your patience is a definite virtue!

my mom was seen by a doctor and was told she would be fine we got a second opinion and the other doctor told us if we listen to the other doctor she wouldn't of made it
the ER is awful. you could be knocking on deaths door and they will basically shrug their shoulders at you like to bad. horrible. i wont recommend going to this ER. go somewhere else if you can

My boyfriend was sent there by ambulance from the dells (mind you we are from a different city, so I got woken up at 3am to rush to that hospital) , all they did was stitch his forehead & got sent home even though he had more then a few hits to his head. which was a lot of severe head trauma. SSM health St.Clare NEVER did a CT scan or any type of double checking from a head injury to make sure he was really OKAY . Got a second opinion from our area hospital near our home a d… See more
