At my initial visit with Dr. Kaminini, it was obvious he is passionate about his specialty. He explained my injury - an old badly torn rotator cuff - and the plan for surgery to repair the injury. He is very particular and detail oriented, not only with surgery, but with excellent follow up care. His friendly and enthusiastic demeanor makes him very pleasant to talk to. I injured myself in a Third World country. It took me a month to get back to Lexington for repairs. I was amazed at how good a job Dr. Kamini did repairing shoulder. he had tremendous work to do and did a tirelessly his professional. He is caring and he’s our kind of people in Kentucky. I highly recommend him.
Went for 2nd opinion he advised physical therapy initially made good progress, but reinjured same shoulder in 6 months, advised surgery explained procedure well , he explained importance of physical therapy post surgery. My recovery was 100%. No pain I still have entire range of motion in my shoulder.

I am a physician and I had a rotator cuff injury, which was unrepairable by a highly recommended surgeon. He suggested that I proceed with a reverse shoulder replacement. I saw doctor Kamineni, who thought the best course of action was to perform the rotator cuff repair, which he successfully completed.If you need you need an excellent surgeon Dr. Kamineni is someone I would highly recommend.
