Quick determining cause of problems, easy scheduling, excellent surgery and recovery. Get to do it again in about a month on the other hand.
Dr Stanbury did Carpal Tunnel surgery on my right hand in June 2022. After the surgery I got trigger thumb. He said this happens sometimes. I had carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand 10 years ago and have had no problems with it, this was done with another surgeon but he has retired so I went to see Dr Stanbury. I went back in because my thumb would not bend and I was given an injection. 11 months later and my thumb is still not moving and now I have terrible wrist pain. I can not move my thumb or my wrist. After my accident and ER procedure, the office was immediately able to find the right time for me to come in to see the doctor. He examined me and provided all the help I needed right away for my hand. Also, due to the shoulder issue, he was successful in having the shoulder doctor seeing me right away. Thank you to the doctors and staff for making me matter and feel so much better. I believe that my recovery is due to the quality of care and quick response from Ortho Arizona.
Dr. Stanbury provided quick, excellent care when I was suffering pain and the loss of my ability to grip with my thumb. He immediately recognized "trigger finger" and treated it within minutes. My thumb has recovered!
Through Dr. Stanbury's operation on my hand, the risk of amputation of a finger has basically gone away. I could not begin to imagine the awful effect the loss of the middle finger of my dominant hand would have upon me. Dr. Stanbury is part of Ortho Arizona, a professional, competent, and well-run organization.
