I always loved science, but I also wanted to be able to interact with people; medicine is the perfect combination of the two. Many careers in science are spent in a lab supplying little interaction with others. I really enjoy getting to know my patients, sharing laughs with them, and watching them improve. Orthopedics, in particular, offered the chance to make a real improvement in the lives of my patients. Very little waiting time, fast and near painless as possible on my thumbs, Cannot think of an area for improvement.
Dr. was prompt, and did thorough exam, for the condition I came in for. He explained everything completely.
Dr Stanbury is the best! He did a fantastic job on my shattered wrist. He is honest and tells it like it is. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Stanbury performed a thumb surgery on both of my hands. He did an excellent job as they healed quickly with no problems and are pain-free more than a year later. He was patient at appointments and very willing to answer all of my questions but he talks very fast, so I would recommend writing down your questions ahead of time, taking notes, and/or bringing someone with you to take notes, to make sure you don't miss anything.

He's probably a very good doctor at his expertise, but he came in and out of our appointment so fast, talked so fast that I was still digesting the information he already moved on. Didn't even ask if I had any questions and didn't give me any chance to ask him any questions because he stood up and ready to walk out. Dr. Stanbury was personable, informative, and delivered a painless cortisone shot in my palm. I highly recommend him!
Although the outcome wasn't the best for my mom by no fault of the Dr but he was very honest and up front and made us feel more comfortable about our decision. Took the time to answer questions. Went over options and outcomes.
