I always loved science, but I also wanted to be able to interact with people; medicine is the perfect combination of the two. Many careers in science are spent in a lab supplying little interaction with others. I really enjoy getting to know my patients, sharing laughs with them, and watching them improve. Dr. Stanbury re-routed a trapped ulnar nerve in my right arm. He noticed a significant loss of grip strength and performed the surgery at a time when all elective procedures were banned due to COVID19 PPE shortages. The pain and tightness I had been experiencing prior to the surgery were relieved almost immediately. Dr. Stanbury and his staff were great at explaining the whole procedure and expected outcome. I really liked how he interacted with me. He did a nice job explaining my diagnosis and treatment plan. He took time to answer my questions and allowed me to help decide method of treatment. I would definitely recommend Dr Stanbury!

Dr. Stanbury is an excellent surgeon. When I broke my wrist and surgery was recommended I didn't know where to begin. After much research, I placed a call to Dr. Stanbury's office at OrthoArizona. During my initial consultation, I found Dr. Stanbury to be extremely confident and personable. My injury required surgery and physical therapy.
