Such an awesome experience! Had a wonderful time with my family! Love the fact that there is a adult only pool for those visiting without kids...yippie! Family pool lots of fun!

First time staying here. Came down for a two night stay with friends. The Coronado is a stunning place. Gorgeous building with Victorian era charm. We stayed in the Ocean Tower with a incredible view of the Pacific. The room was a good size room with a large bathroom. My friends room had a leak inthe AC vent that leaked water. But it was fixed pretty fast. The only complaint I have is the cost of the food. Extremely overpriced for what you get. Not the best tasting or quality wise. Absolutely wonderful stay at the Hotel Del Coronado. The Hotel staff is keenly focused on being attentive and delivering excellent service to their guests. In particular, I want to recognize their Banquet Manager Jose Patino. Jose and his team were responsible for the Friday night Clambake on the beach as well as the Sunday Brunch in the Crown Room. It is an amazing place. The views are spectacular, it is clean despite so many visitors. The problem begins with lack of communication between reception counter and housekeeping. Our room wasn't ready until after 5:00 pm. We were told to continue with our itinerary of surf lessons and they would call us when it was ready. Tired, hungry and wet we waited in the reception until they contracted the manager. The room had been ready but they apparently did not communicate that to reception.
Paul, Sharon and myself had a great time at Hotel Del yesterday however in the bar downstairs the seats all had to be wiped off and the table cleaned before we could sit down. Other than that the ambience, the waitstaff and the drinks were wonderful
