Concerning the buffet ...We waited 30 minutes to be seated next to the place where the wait staff dumped dirty dishes. It was disgusting. We asked to be moved. At our new table, I asked for nondairy creamer. 15 minutes later, the waiter brought it. It immediately curdled in the coffee. After another 20 minutes, I had to go find a waiter to bring me a fresh pitcher of nondairy creamer. Well, that Never happened, he never brought it. I paid and left saying that was the worst experience I ever had at a buffet.
Grab a cup of coffee, detailed but long read. Short version: stay somewhere else and just swing by the Del for drinks. DAY ONE: Unbelievably disappointed in the hotel. We have a cabana room on the beachfront, paying $1000/night. I would be disappointed paying $400/night. The hallways are dank, smelly and moldy, with carpet that is not only seriously dated in style but simply worn out. The room is just as dated and the carpet is just as worn. It's always and forever will be a pleasure to visit the Del. It's very special to my family. Since visiting for over 11 years, the Del staff and their service has been consistently top notch with smiles and going above & beyond. As we are relocated to New Jersey for a period unknown, this will be the place I will miss most! ❤️
First time visiter with my family from Sweden. We loved this place and will sure come back. This time we have dinner at ENO's ( the pizzas are magnificent) and next time we stay over. Lovely building and a "heaven" for interiordesigner as I am. Lovely visit and worth going over the "crazy" bridge 😉.
It was a very posh and lavish hotel. The pool was warm and the beach water was really warm. Hotel room was clean and staff was really friendly and made sure you had the best stay.
At the hotel for the CLE by the Sea Conference 2017. The hotel lives up to its reputation.
