To put it simply...... HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!! Perfect weather, clean beach with gold sand, all kinds of entertainment & amazing food... It's paradise...
So we arrived at 8:30 tonight and this has so far been the biggest disappointment. We booked a room and when we arrived we're disappointed because the bathroom sink was leaking, tv not working, windows faced a staircase, etc. just not whats expected for $5-600 a night room. Let me add we are with a 6month old baby. We call the lobby and we were told they would switch us to an Ocean View room on the 1st floor with a patio within 30 minutes.... come to over an hour later, it's 11pm and the "ocean view" is a parking lot view...... read more

Just a Beautiful Spot so nice in everyway and incredible history!!!
Historic place set in an old building from 1888! Sadly the room was not ready and after several hours and more trips to the front desk we got our room keys! Only to find out someone else was already in the room! So yet more waiting and finally a new room with an upgrade and room credits!
Lucky for me I only live an hour away from this beautiful place and I get to go very often. It's amazing! The hotel, the beach, the food, everything!! I love it!!!!
They could not find our reservation and let us solve it ourself. After 3 hours we finally got a room but the reception gave us accidentally a room that was already occupied by other guests. Very poorly organized at the front desk, and outrageous for a hotel with such a long tradition. The room had a terrible view on the parkinglot. The rooms are very outdated. And the price is far too high for the bad quality of the poor rooms. We will never come back again.
I had to walk up and down stairs everyday because they were doing repairs on the 5th floor and the elevator did not work. Very disappointed since I have a physical disability.
Fabulous place right on the beach. Quite charming.
