I was very underwhelmed. Of course the hotel is marvelous and grand, but it is in great need of repair. Roof shingles missing/falling off/etc. the wood trims and doorways around the property are mangled and chipped and patched too many times. And that's just a couple observations to keep this brief. As for the entry chandelier - I can't stand when some of the lights are warm color temp and some are cool. This is true for the chandelier gleaming in cool/daylight white, while the whole lobby is dull w orange/warm light. Really... read more
Best beach!!! Third time here and it just gets better!
When we stay we had evryone was friendly we had a good stay
It's just such a special place. Parking cost are a bit much and there"s less of the photographic dipslay of the memories - but there is still some if you ask where to find it. The combination of ocean, beach and architectural beauty is simply marvelous.
Great location for a day getaway for lunch.. Sheerwaters has fresh seafood entres as well as impressive wine selection.

It's prob the best place I have ever stayed at! Awesome!!
Love this hotel. This is our 9th year in a row staying at the Del. We look forward to it every year ❤️
