Slow, slow and slower, ugh! Poorly equipped to handle check-in and check-out at the slow-snail valley parking! Beautiful hotel & moderns cutting edge urban style rooms. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. The one shining star we encountered at check-in was our amazing bellman, Derrick, who took it upon himself to get us the adjoining rooms we requested at check in but were told weren't available. TERRIBLE! Stayed at this hotel a few times before and was always happy. Valet service took forever to drop off my car and pick up, long line at check in, stayed on the concierge level and the breakfast was mediocre at best. Felt like I was staying at a 2 star hotel. We stayed at Spring Hill suites for 3 days prior to our stay at the Marquis and was much happier with service and the hotel itself.
Just a overnight stay, the hotel, lobby, rooms and staff very nice and proficient, THE PARKING IS HORRIBLE, never heard of valet being full and having to self park two blocks away and walk to the front entry at 3am. Why can't valet use the self parking lot for guests and still charge the same valet parking prices?

Probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in a long time! Very accommodating staff, friendly. A little on the pricey side, but worth it for quality. Only thing I would suggest is more food options for kids. :)
Probably one of the worst experiences in a hotel I have had in a long time and I travel a lot. Waited 2 plus hours to check in when we needed an authorization form when I thought the room was paid for. Rooms were small and stuffy. Hotel was also hot and stuffy. No wifi included for the price. Overall not very clean. Asked three times for towels and glasses one night. Bar Called security to have my ID checked one night and waited twenty minutes to get my ID back when I could have just grabbed my passport from my room in that ... read more
The room was comfortable. The modern furniture was striking, and the lighting elements were interesting... but the bed being so low profile and close to the ground wasn't comfortable for a tall person. I can't rate any higher because they mishandled my payment information and overcharged my credit card.
It was perfect. I loved the room and the atmosphere. Would absolutely stay there again.
The Marriott treated me so well this trip. I'm very grateful for their staff and outstanding service. No doubt I'll be back. #atlantamarriottmarquis
