It's a good place to live. The location is amazing. Just a little over half a mile from the square. The parking lot is a bit small, but it's not too bad. Management is helpful and responds in a timely manner. The neighbors are friendly. We'll be renewing a second time.
I like my apartment, it's central to everywhere I want or need to be, such as, Roundtree Elementary and Jarrett Middle School, for my pre-teen daughter. Southwinds is also right near downtown, MSU, Mama Jeans, gas stations, and even my cat's vet. There is a shared laundry room on site, and they seem to keep pest control at a top priority, (although, I did get bit by a brown recluse in my sleep here). I really like this apartment complex, it's central to everywhere I want or need to be, such as, Roundtree Elementary and Jarrett Middle School, for my pre-teen daughter. I have lived here for two years now, and I have been very happy with it. It's located on an MSU Bear Line Shuttle stop and is within walking distance of MSU, so it's super convenient. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Any maintenance issues I have had have been dealt with within 24 hours.
I love living here. My apartment is very nice and homey. Its location is great with Walmart right around the corner, and MSU is within walking distance. The maintenance is awesome and very fast to respond. The management is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend these apartments.
