I have had nothing but issues with this management company from the first month that I moved into this subdivision. They are completely unprofessional and rude. They send out letters for fees, dues and fines with no detailed information of what they are asking you to pay for. I received a letter from them regarding my annual dues...I called to pay these dues, later to find out that they decided to apply my money to fines that I did not even receive until a month after the letter came for the dues. SPM is the WORST!!!! We moved in back when Norton was the property management group in 2017. We paid a $300 pet deposit to the then property manager ****** ******** ****** and now all of a sudden we are being contacted by **** ****** and her property manager **** **** saying we owe a pet fee of $1,200 or we have to move out or get rid of our pet?! This is the worst company I have ever come into contact with! I had to sue them to get my security deposit back. I won and they still will not give me my money! All of this with children during a pandemic you would think that they could give me back what is rightfully mine but they won't!
Stay far, far, away from this management company. Hire some someone else to manage your property. The owners are probably some of the rudest and most ignorant arrogant people you can imagine to cross paths with. They will refuse to deal with issues in the slightest professional manner.

I am a property manager for over 25 years in Georgia. Southern property management and Lynn ****** are the most rude, unprofessional and unreasonable HOA managers I have ever come across. We are managing a house in a subdivision where Southern property management is the HOA manager. Without any proper notice and any good reason, the company continuously put fines on our property. I wish I could leave zero stars! This is the worst HOA I have ever dealt with. I have received letters stating that my house needed to be pressure washed, which is fine. But, even after doing what they asked, I received another letter WITH THE SAME EXACT PICTURE OF MY HOME stating that I still needed to clean the outside of my house and that a $25 charge had been applied to my account. They didn't even take the time to come out and see that I had in fact pressure washed my home like they asked, and they attached the original... read more
I reported a safety concern in my subdivision, and immediately received a response from the manager. I really appreciated the sense of urgency and professionalism provided. Although I am fairly new to the community (3 years a resident) my neighbors has mentioned how the community has improved and how much they appropriate SPM.
