Last weekend, our AC was making no sound, and the house became very hot after an hour. I like that Southern Coast Services did not immediately suggest a replacement but went through a diagnostic process first. The technician explained the exact reason the capacitor failed and showed a worn capacitor before installing a replacement.

After seeing warm air seeping from the vents around 3:45 pm, I called them for the AC issue. The repairman conducted an overall check, didn't rush into repairs, and immediately found a refrigerant leak. The cooling problem was corrected and the system tested, after which the cooling was restored to normal. The appointment went well from start to end.

An unusually high water bill was reported, but the source of the water could not be found. They had a thorough inspection procedure and eventually found a leak that their plumber could not see from the outside. They did a neat job on the repair and double-checked it before they left. Rescued us from a big issue.

I called because half of my outlets stopped working. The electrician conducted a thorough examination of the electrical panel, checked all circuits involved and identified one connection that appeared damaged and could pose a safety risk. Before he solved the problem, he explained it in simple words. Power was restored, and all has been well since then.

When a number of sinks, toilets and drains began to slow down at the same time, we became concerned. The technician suggested using a camera to inspect the sewer line and determine exactly where the blockage was. So before summer really got hot, I booked regular AC servicing with a service company called Southern Coast Services to prevent a no-show. The technician was prompt and inspected in greater detail than other companies. He cleaned the coils, checked the refrigerant pressures, examined the electrical connections, tested the thermostat, replaced the filter and measured the airflow and temperature difference. There was an uneven cooling effect in my air conditioning; some rooms were much hotter than others. The technician checked the system, adjusted the airflow and cleaned the required parts. The difference was noticeable the same day.
