We started getting a musty smell from the utility room where the water heater is. Nothing was leaking, but the smell wouldn’t go away. The technician checked it out and found a slow drip from one of the valves on top that had been soaking into the drywall. He replaced the valve and helped air out the space. The smell cleared up in a day or two after that. We caught it early enough.

I had water pooling around the base of the water heater, which I thought might be condensation, but it kept getting worse. Their team arrived, checked everything, and found a slow leak from the bottom of the tank. They replaced the whole unit that same day and walked me through how the new one worked. The whole visit was calm and efficient.

I heard this loud buzzing every time I plugged something into the garage outlet. I thought it was maybe just the extension cord, but it kept happening. The electrician came and replaced the outlet completely and said the old one was starting to burn inside. That was honestly kind of scary to hear. Glad I had someone check it instead of just ignoring it.

Our outdoor lights weren’t turning on at night, even though the timer was set correctly. We replaced the bulbs, the timer, even the whole fixture, but nothing helped. Southern Coast sent someone who found a short in the wiring underground. He fixed it without having to dig everything up, which was a relief. It’s been working on schedule ever since. I’m really glad I didn’t keep throwing money at parts.

The water pressure in our shower dropped way down over a couple of weeks. I thought it was a buildup in the showerhead, but Southern Coast found a partially closed valve behind the wall from an old repair. They opened it fully and cleaned out some mineral gunk. Pressure came back instantly. It’s honestly so nice having a normal shower again.

I scheduled Southern Coast to come out after our heat pump started making a high-pitched noise during cold mornings. The technician checked the entire system and found that the defrost board was malfunctioning, causing the fan to run unevenly. He replaced it, tested everything, and explained how the system was supposed to work. It's been running quietly and smoothly ever since. Super helpful and thorough visit.
