Useless. Charged me $150 to tell me my sump pump was working when it clearly was not. Quoted an outlandishly high price for replacing the pump. Lousy at returning phone calls. Lousy at making/keeping appointments. I called a different plumber and had the pump replaced within a few days and 30% cheaper.
Definitely won't use again. We bought an old house and had brand new central heating and cooling installed. After just 1 full summer, the cooling wasn't working. It was running constantly, the house wasn't cooling, and our electricity bill was through the roof. They came to take a look at it, said it needed a "tune up" and we paid $149 for them to top off the freon. It didn't make any sense to me because it was a very expensive unit and was brand new. In Feb 2015 , we did install a new AC for this customer. Late Aug 2017 we were there for a tune up and we did add freon. Come late April or early May this year , customer called again with same problem. After some checking , we determined the indoor coil for the AC had leak , according to our leak detector. The equipment has a 10 year parts warranty & 1 year labor warranty from the manufacturer. We give our customers an extra year labor on us just because. Very rude and unprofessional to my family after we have spent thousands over the years. Many other plumbers out there who are much more courteous and respectful!
We had a.c. system replaced and the work and employees were great
I will never use South Hills Plumbing again. Arrived promptly to replace toilet seal. In 12 minutes, the job was finished-installing a new seal. Cost: $195 Come on! Tom stated that this is their standard charge for resealing a toilet. Obviously, this was NOT a standard job if it only took 12 minutes. Does this plumber charge $975/hour??? If 12 minutes was $195? Do the math! I am all for paying for services rendered-this was a perfect example of ripping off the customer. NEVER again.
