RecommendedThe ER! What a great staff, especially RN Sam.
First in from the Wichita area and don’t get to ark city much. However I ended up taking a trip to this facility courtesy of a ambulance. The paramedics that responded to my ordeal were great. Very professional and actually cared about the patient. To many paramedics nowadays have a big head and forget about what the patient is going through. I had a minor procedure done and I must say I was super impressed by the staff and how nice and professional they were! Very caring, It was a great visit!
On Saturday October 17th, my mom was admitted to the hospital. She received great medical attention, kindness and was thoroughly tested, by her nurse Samantha Aguinaga. Sam kept us well informed and answered all our questions. So glad the local hospital has great nurses like Sam! Thanks Sam and to any of the other staff members that helped work on my mom!
Dr. Suhail Assari, SCKMC-Jeff Bowman, Randy Simpson, P. A. My better half recently suffered a painful injury to his thumb. Our family Physician was out for the day so off to the Emergency room we went. We recieved prompt attention from the P. A. and the nurses on duty. The Injury revealed a fracture to the tip of the thumb, partial amputation andd the thumb appear to be pumping blood. At that point I knew a trip to Wichita to see a specialist would be required. I can not say enough about the Er an Med Surg departments at the hospital. They were amazing when my grandfather was brought into the ER and they made sure to explained everything that was going on. He was then sent to Med Surg and the nurses and CNAs were the best. Not only were they great taking care of my grandfather they also were wonderful with my family.

I took my mom to the ER last night and the nursing staff and doctor care was excellent. Extremely professional and caring. The doctor and staff were patient and attentive when we were talking. The doctor CRAIG was awesome and willing to discuss our ideas on what we thought would help her and he made things happen. Mom walked out of the ER feeling much better! Thank you SCK staff!
