We were on vacation at Gulf Shores when my husband started having chest pain at the Shrimp Festival. We rushed him to the ER. He had Heart Catheterization Saturday with Stent placement. I can not say enough good things about this hospital!! Everyone was so good at their jobs. Made us feel like my husband was the most important patient, the Doctors and support staff explained everything that was being done. The nurses were great in ER,Cath lab and Cardiac Floor. We were in 213. Great experience during a stressful time!! Thank... read more
My daughter went to the emergency room with a broken arm. Since we had no insurance, they x-rayed, wrapped with a bandage and told her to find an ortho doctor. Since when does the hospital not treat broken bones? My phone calls are not being answered. I will not stop. You charged over 700 to say its broken but you didn't fix it or even put a cast on it when you KNOW it's broken. I'm calling a lawyer.
Applied for a PRN RN position well over a month ago. Have 17 years RN experience. No call or interview. Position still posted.
We took my sister, who has stage 5 cancer and is on hospice, to the ER last night for an abcess that needed draining. We were triaged in less than a minute after we finished registration. We were called back to a room in 45 minutes and seen by a physician in 1.5 hours. Procedure finished and we were out the door in 3 hours. The staff was friendly and and helpful. Very respectful and patient. Would definitely go back.
Went to ER with problem I've had since 1968. Not first time here, but this time "doctor" gave me drug I was allergic to and was put in drug induced coma and had tracheotomy performed, took three months, rehab, loss of balance(now on a walker). This same problem --(in past)two day hospital stay, one week, walking with no aides at all. DOES FOLEY HOSPITAL CHECK OUT WHO THEY PUT IN ER?OR CAN ANYONE THAT SAYS THEY'RE MD CAN GET A JOB?
